





**Location:** Remote (Only in Colombia) **Job Type: Full time** **English:** B2\+ or C1 **About the Role:** We’re looking for a hands\-on **Data Engineer** who can architect, deploy, and optimize customer data systems that power smarter decision\-making. You’ll be the bridge between data sources and actionable insights, building pipelines, ensuring data quality, and creating unified customer data platforms that drive business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical problem\-solving, enjoys working with modern data tools, and is passionate about building reliable, scalable data solutions that empower teams across marketing, analytics, and product. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to integrate data from multiple systems and sources. * Deploy and configure customer data platforms (CDPs) like **Tealium**, ensuring seamless connectivity across marketing, analytics, CRM, and data warehouse tools. * Implement data governance and privacy compliance practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and reliability. * Develop data layers and schemas that structure customer interactions across web, mobile, and backend systems. * Create **ETL/ELT** processes for transforming and enriching data to make it ready for analysis and reporting. * Build and manage **API** integrations and data connections between platforms. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. * Monitor and troubleshoot data flow, ensuring system reliability and scalability. **Requirements:** * **3\+** years of experience in data engineering or data integration. * Strong proficiency in **JavaScript**, **SQL**, and working with **RESTful APIs**. * Experience with **Tealium, Snowflake**, or similar data orchestration platforms. * Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and schema design. * Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). * Understanding of data quality assurance, governance, and privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA). * Excellent problem\-solving and collaboration skills with a detail\-oriented mindset. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. **Nice to have:** * Experience with **Python** for data processing and automation. * Familiarity with machine learning pipelines or AI model deployment. * Knowledge of mobile SDKs (iOS/Android) and app event tracking. * Understanding of marketing technology tools and automation systems. * Experience creating documentation for data flows and integration specs.
