Responsibilities: Manage and support administrative processes related to the Logistics area. Carry out job responsibilities and functions according to procedures, codes of conduct, policies, and established organizational standards. Place and track international purchase orders with Yokogawa factories globally and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, costs, and delivery times. Supervise and validate values in requisitions, ensuring alignment with budget and contractual conditions. Develop and evaluate national and international strategic suppliers to optimize costs and delivery times. Negotiate and liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to obtain the best commercial and operational conditions. Manage requests for acceleration of delayed purchase orders. Maintain direct and efficient communication with Yokogawa factories. Deliver documentation related to factory and foreign trade processes to accounting. Request transfers from accounting for advances, tax payments, and/or purchase invoice payments. Provide support to the Sales area and Engineering and Services area regarding status of goods and/or equipment. Track international purchase orders through inquiries in SAP BO, SAP R3, corporate email, national and international suppliers. Administer purchase orders after placement for YPRODUCTS, E\&S, MATERIALS, LIFE, (ENG, SER), and ADMON via ERP SAP BO. Support administration and management after submission of foreign trade documentation to customs. Ensure quality and condition of purchased products, materials, and supplies, reporting non-conformities to respective entities or agencies. Support resolution of contingencies according to operations and regulations. Create national and international purchase orders in Ysaco and corporate information systems. Support quotation requests and perform beneficial comparisons. Support negotiation with suppliers to secure the best conditions in favor of the company (for Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela). Support evaluation and monitoring of agreed and confirmed KPIs for the position. Design and implement import and export strategies that optimize costs, transit times, and regulatory compliance. Comprehensive coordination of customs processes, ensuring efficiency in procedures and compliance with international regulations. Supervise and execute document management in import and export processes, ensuring accuracy and traceability. Coordinate and validate import, export, and back-to-back costs. Reduce logistics costs through consolidation strategies, route optimization, and efficient selection of freight operators. Implement improvements in back-to-back order management, ensuring operational continuity and reduction of lead times. Manage and maintain direct, effective, and strategic communication with international clients, ensuring an optimal service experience. Coordinate deliveries and fulfillment of commercial commitments with customers, guaranteeing delivery times and service quality. Proactively resolve issues and mitigate risks in the supply chain, maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. Perform all functions and activities inherent to the purchasing and contracting processes requested by the immediate supervisor. Implement procedures, rules, and guidelines related to information security management SGSI ISO 27001 applicable to their activities. Requirements: ACADEMIC BACKGROUND: Professional degree in International Trade / International Logistics / International Commerce Logistics. COMPLEMENTARY TRAINING: N/A.
