**Company Name:** Bioplast de Antioquia SAS. **Company Description:** Leading company dedicated to plastic recycling, whose operational focus is based on environmental protection, requires an Industrial Engineer for the Quality and Continuous Improvement area in Itagüí. **Location:** Los Naranjos, Itagüí. **Sector:** Plastic recycling. **Working Hours:** To be agreed. **Salary:** To be agreed. **Position:** Quality and Continuous Improvement Technologist. **Area:** Quality Assurance / Production. **Number of Vacancies:** 1 **Job Objective.** Ensure compliance with quality standards in production processes, guaranteeing that products meet technical specifications, internal regulations, and customer requirements through the execution of controls, records, and follow-up on non-conformities. **Main Responsibilities.** * Perform quality control and assurance for in-process and finished products. * Record and analyze quality control results. * Support non-conformity management and corrective actions. * Verify compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements. * Calibrate and maintain measurement instruments and control equipment. * Participate in internal and external audits. * Propose improvements in production processes from a quality perspective. * Train operational staff on basic quality topics and good practices. **Education.** * Associate degree in Quality Management, Industrial Processes, Production, or related fields. **Experience.** * Minimum 1 to 2 years in roles related to quality control or assurance (preferably in manufacturing or processing industries). **Specific Knowledge.** * Statistical Process Control (SPC). * ISO 9001 standards (desirable). * Interpretation of specifications and tolerances. * Knowledge of root cause analysis tools (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.). * Proficiency in spreadsheet software and ERP systems. **Personal Competencies.** * Attention to detail and quality orientation. * Teamwork and assertive communication. * Analytical skills and decision-making ability. * Responsibility and commitment. * Proactivity and continuous improvement mindset. **Note:** Masculine terminology is used for brevity only.
