**Job Description Summary** =========================== The operations specialist is responsible for the W2W of an order, from its entry into the system to its delivery to the end customer obtaining POD or proof of delivery. This position has full interaction with multiple areas such as commercial, finance, services, S\&OP, HPM, logistics, controllership, among others, as well as distributors. It is a critical role since it initiates an opportunity in the system and is responsible for managing orders through a backlog, handling payment dates and site milestones. The specialist must be responsible for maintaining updated data and reporting status to internal and external customers. Responsible for equipment nationalization together with the Broker and preparing necessary documentation for such importation. Actively participates in various operational mechanisms providing information on the status of their orders. Position Description **Responsibilities:** * **Support:** Assist in building the forecast based on backlog data, managing risk and opportunity profiles to achieve a reliable Say/Do ratio. * **Lead** and coordinate with different areas **(**commercial, HPM, credit, Order Fulfillment, etc.) active and healthy backlog management to achieve the ultimate goal: delivering to the end customer and achieving sales recognition. * **Drive** operational mechanisms with distributors, commercial teams, SBUs, S\&OP, etc., to maximize the process and lifecycle of an order throughout its journey (from system entry to revenue recognition). Responsible for maintaining the most efficient backlog conversion possible. * **Foster** teamwork with colleagues and across regions, contributing and developing common strategies while always leveraging the 'lean' culture whenever possible. * **Focus** consistently on the customer, understanding their needs and supporting them throughout the entire order journey. **Education:** Degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or Engineering. **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in roles related to foreign trade, operations, logistics, or HPM.
