This internship offers hands\-on experience in purchasing processes, supplier engagement, contract management, and procurement systems. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly organized, and capable of working in a fast\-paced, cross\-functional environment. The ideal candidate will be hands\-on with strong problem\-solving \& analytical skills and experience. This position will be a self\-motivated individual who can drive solve problems; have excellent project management and must be proactive and deadline oriented. This includes managing the renewals process from start to end, problem\-solving, following up with internal customers, and answering questions. The intern works closely with the Procurement team members, Legal and Business leads to establish parameters for RFx, pricing and other procurement process expectations. **Responsibilities** * Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and procurement documentation. * Support vendor onboarding and data management activities. * Help track contract renewals, compliance deadlines, and supplier performance metrics. * Participate in sourcing activities, including RFQs and supplier evaluations. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams (Finance, IT, Legal) to ensure procurement alignment. * Maintain procurement records and assist in audit preparation. * Contribute to process improvement initiatives and procurement automation efforts. * Attend team meetings and contribute to project updates and reporting. * Drive process and system improvements to enhance purchasing efficiency, cost, and compliance. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure early and frequent Procurement engagement and procurement activities align with overall company goals. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost\-effectiveness. * Analyze market trends to identify potential cost savings and process improvements. * Promote a comprehensive approach to competitive bid and supplier negotiation activities, selection of approved suppliers, and final contract approval/execution. * Identify and resolve any supplier issues or discrepancies. * Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities. * Data and spend analysis * And other duties as assigned. **Requirements** * Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * English Proficiency B1 or superior * Strong attention to detail * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Interest in procurement, vendor management, and operational efficiency. * Exceptional planning skills, capable of effectively managing tight deadlines and multiple tasks. * Results\-driven mindset, consistently striving for success. * Highly organized, strategic, and methodical in approach. * Appreciation for processes, procedures, and governance necessary to lead projects and programs. * Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal **Additional Details** * Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and Passport/ID validation. * Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
