Apply here to start an extraordinary career today.** We are looking for a person to fill the position of **Operations Support Analyst** to join our team: **Main responsibilities:** * Participate in the construction of Opex and Capex budgets for the different areas of the Management, according to guidelines defined by FP\&A and organizational policies. * Monitor the defined strategy for controlling Operations expenses (Opex), evaluating monthly execution, committed expenses, and planned expenses for each area. Identify deviations and propose mitigation measures for management decision-making, aiming to meet corporate targets. * Evaluate and support monitoring of the Investment Portfolio (Capex) through tracking of budget execution, deviation analysis, and assessment of risks associated with under or over-spending, ensuring traceability of invested resources, timely decision-making, and compliance with the company's capitalization criteria. Likewise, support project managers in the process of asset activation and deactivation in accounting records. * Model, according to operational and financial requirements, the search, allocation, and redistribution of resources that allow compensation for unplanned activities or address contingencies arising during the year. Identify risks associated with postponing or reducing the scope of activities, as well as present impact scenarios for management evaluation. * Manage control and monitoring tools such as databases, dashboards, or platforms that provide timely and reliable information on budget execution tracking, as well as carry out all required procedures in SAP to ensure availability and control of resources for each area or associated project. * Prepare, consolidate, and present budget execution reports to Management, the FP\&A team, various operational departments of the company, and external stakeholders, guaranteeing the quality, timeliness, and traceability of financial information. * Provide support and advisory to Management areas, resolving queries regarding budget execution, facilitating collaborative workspaces for data analysis, and promoting good practices in resource utilization. * Perform administrative procedures related to provisions, invoicing, advances, logistical reserves for operations management staff, petty cash, among others. * Contribute to the compliance of the Integrated Management System Policy, which incorporates variables of Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, Quality, and Asset Management. * Promote continuous improvement of the AES Colombia integrated management system, ensuring compliance with requirements, processes, and guidelines established by the corporation. **Requirements:** * Professional degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Public Accounting, or related fields. * 3 to 5 years of experience in Budget Planning and Control. * SAP (Intermediate) * English (Intermediate) * Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Advanced) * Power BI (Desirable).
