Where no two days are the same. ### **Your Role** We are seeking a seasoned **Automation Tester** with extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance to join our client BDO for a 6\-month engagement. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using **Playwright** to ensure the highest quality of web applications. In this role you will play a key role in: * Developing and implementing comprehensive end\-to\-end test automation strategies and frameworks using Playwright for web applications * Creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security requirements * Collaborating with cross\-functional teams in an Agile environment to understand requirements and develop effective test plans and test cases * Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution using appropriate test management tools * Performing regression testing to ensure new code changes don't adversely affect existing functionality * Analyzing test results to identify areas for improvement in both the application and test automation framework * Participating in code reviews to ensure test code quality and adherence to best practices * Mentoring junior team members on test automation methodologies and best practices * Researching and recommending new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness * Providing regular status updates and detailed reports on testing activities and results to stakeholders ### **Your Profile** * 10\+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation * Extensive hands\-on experience with **Playwright** for end\-to\-end test automation across web applications * Proven experience working in **Agile environments** with a deep understanding of Agile testing methodologies * Strong programming skills in **JavaScript/TypeScript** and experience with test automation frameworks * Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** and integrating automated tests into the development workflow * Proficiency in version control systems such as **Git** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross\-functional teams * Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
