This role requires a comprehensive approach, as the engineer must be able to manage inputs with product ownership teams as elements that complement the development of test cases. The person will be responsible for creating and maintaining automation packages with high quality and efficiency, demonstrating a good command of code development and the ability to learn and take ownership of business logic.**Accountabilities** 1\. Having the ability to design the best solution based on business logic, with the ability to say and justify why the automation process should or should not be carried out. 3\. Talk to the product owners to learn details of the business logic, as well as input management and the solution of problems with the applications. 4\. Understand business logic and work dynamically between the environments that the company manages for UAT. 5\. Strong programming logic skills in high\-level and object\-oriented languages and good database skills. Nice to have Java Skills 6\. Knowledge in the following technical concepts: a. Software Development Life Cycle b. BDD c. Agile Methodologies d. Versioning process and good practices e. Design pattern POM f. Nice to have (Automation Testing Knowledge) g. Nice to have (AS400 Knowledge)**Education / Experience / Other Information*** 3\+ years of software development experience * Knowledge of SDLC – Waterfall and Agile. Experience working in waterfall and/or agile team. * Knowledge on SQL and ability to write complexity Queries. * Experience working with Java, SQL, BDD and POM. Desirable * Ability to propose solutions independently in pursuit of established objectives. * Strong working knowledge of department\-related software * Hands on experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Selenium * Well\-developed leadership ability * Strong interpersonal skills * Superior analytical skills * High attitude to handle reported issues and provide solutions. * English B1 level. **Nice to have:*** 4\+ years of software development experience * Ability to supervise business applications testing with Web interfaces, GUI, and green screen emulation in the following environment platforms: Host 4700/3270, IMS, AS/400, Client/Server, Windows. * Understanding of code management, server and applications layering, environment configuration and databases * Knowledge in VBs, Atlassian suite tools. * English B2 level.
