Recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, we have more than 95,000 employees and a network of over 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** Senior Laboratory Analyst: Perform chemical analyses by gas chromatography, instrumental methods, and any other required analyses in the different areas or fields of activity of the Laboratory, according to the Company's established procedures. **Requirements** Education: Chemical Engineer, Chemist, Microbiologist, Biologist, Pharmaceutical Chemist, Chemical Technologist, or related fields. Experience: Three (3) years in laboratory analysis and/or quality control. Preferably one (1) year of experience managing personnel. Technical knowledge: Laboratory-specific skills; preferably laboratory quality control according to NTC-ISO/IEC 17025 standard, metrology, statistics, method validation, office software (Word, Excel, PPT), operation of GC with selective detectors (FID, NPD, uECD, HS-PT), GC-MS, data analysis software preferably OpenLab, MassHunter. **Additional Information** Specific Responsibilities * Support in managing the scheduling and/or activities of the laboratory for performing chemical, physical, microbiological, and instrumental analyses. * Ensure proper inventory management and/or timely request of necessary work materials and consumables to guarantee normal laboratory operations. * Implement and validate testing methods according to the laboratory's quality assurance program guidelines. * Validate and report laboratory analysis results, taking into account internal QA/QC controls. * Ensure proper handling of all laboratory equipment under their responsibility and perform verification and/or execution of operational performance/efficiency checks and calibrations as per established laboratory procedures. * Ensure correct use of protective equipment during work execution. * Provide timely information to their immediate supervisor regarding any non-conforming product in their process, customer complaints and/or claims, actively participating in identifying and implementing corrective actions, improvement plans, and associated process risks. * Ensure active participation in scheduled and unannounced internal and external audits. * Participate in identifying risks associated with the process. * Guarantee timely updating of procedures, instructions, and other documents in accordance with area requirements. * Ensure compliance with organizational internal standards and procedures. * Guarantee timely entry of information into the system and prompt delivery of analytical results. * Promptly inform the immediate supervisor of any damages or malfunctions occurring in the operation of assigned equipment and facilities where work is conducted. * Implement, maintain, and improve the laboratory's quality management system, identifying deviations from this system or from procedures for carrying out laboratory activities. * Perform any other duties assigned, inherent to the position.
