We are looking for a **Software Quality Assurance** for our Colombia office. **Education:** Final year of study in a technical, technological, or professional program in computer science or systems, software engineering, or a discipline related to information technology or programming. **Skills:** * Software Testing Fundamentals * Programming and Scripting Languages * Testing and Automation Tools * Defect Management * Knowledge of Software Development * Knowledge of Databases * Familiarity with international standards such as ISO/IEC 29119, ISTQB, CSTE, among others. * QA Methodologies: POM, Screenplay. Test Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Gherkins, among others * QA Software: JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, K6, Swagger Open API. * Intermediate SQL proficiency. Testing on Web Services, SOAP and REST. Jira, Jenkins, etc. Scrum, Kanban. Experience in Documentation. * Exploratory, unit, and other types of testing. **Job Purpose:** Address issues reported by internal users and operational activities detailed in functions and responsibilities. * Create a functional test plan and product testing strategy that complies with local regulations and standards. * Compare actual and expected results, verifying whether a product meets requirements. * Test automation. * Perform automated regression tests after each update and release of a new software version. * Document automated testing procedures and select new automated tools. * Measure product performance and evaluate results through stress testing. * Conduct performance tests (load, stress, spike tests, etc.) to verify how the software performs under extreme conditions. * Identify and report product issues using error tracking systems. * Create databases of known product defects and analyze these issues. * Review product specifications to predict potential future errors. * Provide advice on product design to reduce possible problems. * Improve testing strategies. * Monitor testing effectiveness, provide mentoring and suggestions to enhance testing practices. * Ensure that the software is ready for its target audience. * Define a Quality Plan and Strategy (Security, Functionality, Performance). * Requirements analysis, creation of a query list based on those requirements. * Write and execute test cases to detect usability and performance issues. * Verify consistency across multiple devices and platforms (software works across different devices and browsers). * Set priorities for automation scenarios and work to maximize test coverage. * Determine what to test, prioritize tasks, and monitor test coverage. * Develop ways to optimize the testing process at a high level. * Identify tools and technologies that align with business objectives, company infrastructure, and tester skills. * Establish quality procedures, policies, formats, and metrics for the entire team. **Working hours:** Monday to Friday, from 08:00 a.m. \- 5:30 p.m. **Contract modality: 100% in-person** Job type: Full-time
