Technical Evaluator (LATAM – Full Time / Remote) Job Description At Novacomp, we are seeking a Technical Evaluator who will be responsible for designing, conducting, and refining technical and cultural assessments for candidates and collaborators participating in agile teams and strategic technology projects. This role will be key in ensuring that selected professionals not only possess the necessary technical competencies but also the cultural adaptability required to integrate successfully into multidisciplinary teams and remain with the company. Main Responsibilities * Design, administer, and update technical tests and cultural evaluations for candidates across various technology specialties. * Validate candidates’ technical and cultural fit within agile team environments, ensuring compatibility with methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe. * Create and maintain a repository of technical assessments segmented by technology stack and seniority level. * Collaborate with technical leads, recruiters, and delivery managers to align assessments with each project’s specific needs. * Measure and report assessment outcomes, focusing on metrics such as: * Quality of validated hires. * Cultural alignment with project teams. * Retention rate of candidates within the company. * Evaluate soft skills and collaboration competencies for distributed teams. * Innovate in the use of assessment platforms and tools (HackerRank, Codility, TestGorilla, CodeSignal, CodinGame, Mettl, or others). * Design and implement automated testing using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, NUnit, PyTest, among others. * Ensure the ability to generate adaptive assessments for emerging technologies and new frameworks. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * 4+ years of experience in technical evaluation, technical interviews, technical leadership, university teaching in computing disciplines, or similar roles. * Solid expertise in at least two of the main technology stacks: * Development: .NET (C\#), Java (Spring, Hibernate), Python (Django, Flask). * Front\-end: React, Angular, Advanced JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3\. * DevOps \& Cloud: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP. * Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals: * Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). * Design patterns and development best practices. * Functional programming and reactive programming. * Data structures and algorithms. * Knowledge of databases and data management: * Advanced SQL, database modeling, query optimization. * ETL and best practices for data integration. * Experience designing or administering cultural interviews or soft skills assessments. * Proficiency with technical assessment platforms (HackerRank, Codility, TestGorilla, etc.). * Intermediate to advanced English (B2\+). * Strong analytical and communication skills to document results and present them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
