We are seeking a highly experienced **Chief Data Engineer** to join our team and lead the development of innovative data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in contact center solutions, and demonstrate exceptional skills in project management, stakeholder collaboration, and team leadership. *We accept* *CVs in English only.* **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with organizational leaders and peers to establish effective communication and foster strong partnerships * Build credibility as a subject matter expert, working closely with architects, principal engineers, and technical specialists to drive innovation * Advocate for the adoption of advanced technologies and methodologies, including process automation and modern engineering practices, to maximize business value and streamline operations * Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS resources * Design and implement robust data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources, including RDBMS, REST APIs, flat files, streams, and time\-series data * Leverage Big Data technologies to develop and optimize data ingestion and processing pipelines * Process and transform data using tools such as Spark and cloud\-based services * Implement business logic into data workflows using supported programming languages * Create automated data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of ingested data * Build and maintain systems for collecting, transforming, integrating, and distributing customer data * Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve data collection, insights, and reporting capabilities * Ensure data solutions are accessible, scalable, reliable, and efficient * Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and patterns * Develop frameworks and use data visualization tools to present actionable insights to stakeholders * Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies within agile teams * Write queries, generate reports, and communicate findings effectively to business stakeholders * Mentor and support junior team members by sharing best practices and industry expertise **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in math, statistics, computer science, data science, or a related field * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer in industries such as consumer finance, collections, servicing, optional products, or insurance sales * At least 2 years of experience managing and leading development teams * Participation in at least two full\-cycle projects or multiple projects spanning various development phases * Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language: Snowflake, Java, Scala, Python, or C\# * Hands\-on experience with HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Oozie/Airflow, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Snowflake * Proficiency with data mining and programming tools, including SAS, SQL, R, or Python * Expertise in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Greenplum * Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies and tools * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical concepts to non\-technical audiences * Knowledge of business intelligence tools, analytical technologies, and methodologies * Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2\+ level or higher * Preferred Skills **Nice to have** * AWS certification * Experience with Spark Streaming * Familiarity with Kafka Streaming or Kafka Connect * Knowledge of the ELK Stack * Experience with Cassandra or MongoDB * Hands\-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Jira, or Confluence * Familiarity with database technologies like Redshift **We offer** * Learning Culture \- We want you to be the best version of yourself, that is why we offer unlimited access to learning platforms, a wide range of internal courses, and all the knowledge you need to grow professionally * Health Coverage \- Health and wellness are important, that is why we have you and up to four family members in a premiere health plan.
