




**Role:** Financial Analyst **Location:** Remote **Hours:** 9am \- 5pm Mountain Standard Time **Salary:** (open to negotiation based on experience) The Financial Analyst provides analytical and administrative support to the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial data, reports, and reconciliations. This position assists in processing client bill backs, validating financial transactions, preparing margin and pricing analyses, and supporting month\-end reporting. The role contributes to maintaining data integrity within financial systems and ensures timely, accurate reporting across brands and channels. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Create and maintain frameworks for tracking, forecasting, and reporting Amazon pass\-through bill backs. * Partner with Accounting to reconcile collections, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting. * Monitor and model gross profit margins across thousands of SKUs, brands, and sales channels. * Analyze pricing strategies and Amazon fees to identify margin drivers and risks. * Develop financial models to forecast gross profit and simulate pricing scenarios. * Investigate anomalies in SKU\-level performance and prepare reports for review by leadership. * Maintain system accuracy for bill backs, discounts, and vendor reimbursements. * Collaborate cross\-functionally with Brand, Operations, and FP\&A teams to align insights and corrective actions. * Support month\-end close activities with reconciliations, journal entries, and data validation. * Design dashboards or visualizations for ongoing margin monitoring and leadership visibility. * Establish and document financial processes to ensure data integrity and audit readiness. * Other duties as may be assigned **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. * 1\-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or FP\&A (retail or e\-commerce preferred). * Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling formulas). * Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). * Experience managing and interpreting large SKU\-level datasets. * Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. * Skilled in building and maintaining financial models for forecasting and margin analysis. * Effective communicator with the ability to present complex data to non\-financial audiences. Collaborative team player experienced in cross\-functional environments. * Understanding of gross profit margin drivers, pricing elasticity, and cost allocation.
