




Job description: Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and professional Virtual Front Desk Receptionist to join our physical therapy practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional and welcoming experience. This remote position involves patient scheduling, handling inquiries, and providing general administrative support. Key Responsibilities:Patient Interaction: Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using our scheduling software. Provide accurate information about services, office policies, and procedures. Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns with care and efficiency. Administrative Support: Maintain up\-to\-date patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Process insurance verifications and handle authorization requests. Send appointment reminders and manage follow\-up communications. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure smooth coordination of patient care. Act as the communication bridge between patients and the office team. General Office Duties: Perform data entry and organize electronic files systematically. Draft, prepare, and send correspondence, including emails and letters. Provide assistance with additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma required; some college coursework is a plus. Experience: Previous medical office experience is preferred but not essential. Customer service experience is required. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Organization: Excellent multitasking abilities and high attention to detail. Interpersonal: Friendly, professional, and patient\-focused attitude. Equipment: Must have a reliable computer and high\-speed internet connection. Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. A quiet, professional home office setup.
