




Under general supervision, resolves moderately complex scope problems at the wellsite when analysis of situations or data requires review of various factors. Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action at the wellsite based on practical experience and theoretical training on standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Responsible for knowing the operational status of logging-while-drilling and directional drilling equipment at the wellsite. Manages situations where service performance issues occur. Performs all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes health, safety, and environmental policies, legal compliance requirements, and core values. Must complete all required training and development programs within Step III of the LEAD Field Specialist Program and all local training and development programs. **Required Qualifications** * Professional in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, and/or Mechanical Engineering * 1 year of specific and proven field experience in Directional Drilling MWD operations * Experience with MWD and LWD tools (Gamma Ray and Resistivity). * Proven experience operating directional MWD tools including, among others, downhole motors and RSS (autotrack) * Proficient in Office software * Intermediate level of English proficiency. * Valid residency certificate from Barrancabermeja **Responsibilities**: * Responsible for providing Directional Drilling Service, Directional Driller (DD). * Competent in handling multiple applications in directional drilling, including various industry technologies * Responsible for service execution to ensure adherence to approved directional trajectories. * Responsible for on-site execution of all anti-collision procedures with offset wells * Responsible for client interaction at the worksite to define subsequent operations according to Baker Hughes procedures * Responsible for the inventory of directional tools at the worksite * Responsible for operating directional tools within specified parameters * Ability to work and communicate effectively with others **Desired Characteristics** * Strong oral and written communication skills * Solid interpersonal and leadership abilities * Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously * Effective problem identification and resolution capability * Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills **About Us:** We are an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide.
