Job Summary: We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide support for control systems and cybersecurity, with technical leadership in configuration and commissioning. Key Highlights: 1. Systems Control and Cybersecurity Support 2. Technical Leadership in Configuration and Commissioning 3. Opportunity to Work with Automation Technology Provide support for the installed base of Control Systems on both physical and virtual platforms, as well as process control. Support network equipment configurations for the entity and other regions across the Americas. Provide technical leadership to in-house configuration engineers from various Centers of Excellence supporting regional operations. **Your responsibilities for this role will include:** * Support for Control Systems on Virtualized and/or Physical Platforms; * Configuration, Support, and Commissioning of Control Systems (Delta V); * Configuration, Support, and Commissioning of Cybersecurity Systems; * Technical Leadership in PEM-related tasks; * Technical Leadership in in-house activities related to the above-mentioned responsibilities; * Configuration tasks related to in-house Control, Communications, and Cybersecurity Engineering; * Commissioning tasks for the above-mentioned topics, performed by lower-skilled engineers; * Effective communication between maintenance support structures for customers (SureService and Guardian Support); * Administrative and financial control of Project Managers. **Who You Are:** You anticipate customer needs and deliver services that exceed their expectations. You easily distinguish between what is relevant and irrelevant to make sense of complex situations. **Requirements for This Role** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field **Experience** * Minimum 3 years as a Control Systems Service Engineer * Minimum 2 years working with DeltaV systems * Minimum 1 year working with Cybersecurity and virtualization systems * Minimum 5 years working with Control Systems **Skills** * Intermediate level of English * Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office * Control loop tuning * Reading P\&IDs **Emerson Product Experience** * PK Controller Standalone * EIOC * VIM * WIOC * Gateway * Knowledge of plant communication protocols: Modbus, OPC, Fieldbus, Ethernet/IP * Emerson training courses will be considered an asset. **WHY EMERSON** **Our Commitment to Our People** At Emerson, we are motivated by a spirit of collaboration that helps our diverse, multicultural teams across the world drive innovation that makes the world healthier, safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
