Inventory Supervisor (Colombia-Arjona)

This position is within Cargill’s protein and salt business, through which we supply high-quality, healthy food products to a broad range of customers—from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. **Purpose** ------------- The Inventory Supervisor will oversee our medium- or small-sized team that plans, identifies and evaluates inventory across the distribution network through analysis of the inventory replenishment system, and will conduct inventory analysis working on assignments of moderate complexity and variety. We seek an experienced professional to help coordinate multiple product lines and implement applicable policies, procedures and regulations that monitor and ensure inventory safety and turnover. **Key Responsibilities** ---------------------------- * Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement. * Ensure proper inventory turnover. * Measure and analyze inventory planning metrics objectives. * Assist in defining inventory strategies and product segmentation. * Provide leadership through tactical problem-solving. * Supervise inventory plans for assigned product or location within the planning process. * Supervise maintenance of relevant data for inventory planning activities, including capacity, constraints, logistics, supplier, master and location data. * Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for direct reports. Will also spend time performing the same tasks as team members. * Other assigned duties. #LI-Onsite #LI-VG3 **Qualifications** ------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration or related field. * Minimum one year of work experience in inventory. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Proficiency in Power BI. * Proficiency in SAP system.
