Will you **lead the transformation of Generative AI in the financial industry?** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We seek a Generative AI Technical Leader with 6\+ years of software engineering experience and over one year implementing production-ready LLM-based solutions. Your expertise must include model API integration, RAG architectures, agent orchestration, and LLMOps practices within enterprise environments. You will design real-world scalable Generative AI solutions for the financial and insurance sectors. This is a unique opportunity to lead production systems with corporate governance, traceability, and direct technical impact on the industry. ### **Responsibilities** * Design reference architectures for LLM-based solutions, including RAG systems, tool-augmented agents, and multi\-agent orchestration workflows. * Define model evaluation strategy using test datasets, quality metrics, hallucination detection, and prompt regression. * Establish AI governance by defining autonomy levels, human approval for critical actions, auditing, and regulatory compliance. * Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms using APIs, CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, and legacy systems. * Select models and vendors by evaluating cost, latency, and quality under a build vs. buy approach. * Technically lead AI engineers, elevating practice standards through reusable playbooks and templates. * Present high-level architectural decisions to client technical and executive committees. ### **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. * **Experience:** 6\+ years of software engineering experience, including at least one year designing and deploying LLM-based solutions in enterprise environments. ### **Technical Knowledge** * Advanced use of model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) beyond chat: function calling, structured outputs, and agent loops. * Design and implementation of RAG architectures using vector databases (pgvector, Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or similar). * Agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or direct SDK development (differentiator: Model Context Protocol \- MCP). * LLMOps practices: prompt versioning, automated evals, per-transaction cost monitoring, and drift detection. * Enterprise software architecture: microservices, event\-driven architectures, and integration patterns. * Azure cloud (AKS, Azure DevOps). * Strong proficiency in Python; Java/Spring Boot knowledge is desirable. ### **Apply now and become part of this story!** **Conditions** --------------- * You must be located in **Medellín** to work in a **hybrid** mode. * **Indefinite-term contract or Contractor**—we aim for long-term relationships and want you to be part of our family for many years! * **Seeking professional growth?** At Sofka, we offer a **learning ecosystem** with multiple tools to bridge skill gaps and boost your capabilities—you decide how you want to grow!
