Position Summary: An industrial company is seeking a Product Design and Development Leader responsible for designing motorcycle accessories, developing prototypes, and participating in innovation projects. Proficiency in SolidWorks and metalworking processes An industrial sector company requires a PRODUCT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT LEADER for the municipality of MEDELLIN. Candidates must hold a Technologist, Technician, or Professional degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering—or related fields—with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. The candidate will be responsible for: 1. Designing and developing motorcycle accessories using 3D CAD software. 2. Preparing technical drawings and product documentation. 3. Proposing improvements in design, functionality, durability, and cost-efficiency. 4. Developing prototypes and supporting validation testing. 5. Organizing and maintaining up-to-date technical product information. 6. Participating in innovation projects and new developments. 7. Possessing the ability to communicate technically with assembly plants and understand their requirements. Required competencies include: 1. Proficiency in SolidWorks. 2. Knowledge of metalworking processes. 3. Tube bending. 4. Welding. 5. Machining. 6. Technical drawing interpretation.
