Join our **\#RumboSacyr** and help us continue connecting the world. **Network Engineer Job Description** -------------------------------------------------- The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of telecommunications networks for high-impact projects. We expect a proactive profile with strong analytical skills and a team-oriented mindset in dynamic and multicultural environments. ### **Main responsibilities in networks and telecommunications** * Design, configure, and maintain wet and dry networks, coordinating the movement of these networks with each operator * Manage on-site production activities related to the relocation of wet and dry networks, coordinating movements with each operator, provide support to the Networks Department to meet contractual requirements with the Client, and monitor and supervise contractors, operators, and personnel responsible for executing activities under the Network Management Plan * Collaborate in the planning and implementation of network infrastructures for engineering, concession, and service projects. * Prepare technical documentation and update network and device inventories. * Address the relocation needs of water supply, sewerage, electrical, hydrocarbon, and telecommunications networks within the road corridor of the construction project, coordinating these activities with the production department to comply with the construction schedule. * Execute ITS activities by performing necessary monitoring, control, and planning tasks to carry out the operations. * Respond promptly to contingencies arising from damage to affected networks during the construction process \- permanent availability required. * Analyze and timely manage risk situations that could affect people or property during activity execution. * Supervise and control processes related to network relocations carried out by contractors and various operators in the construction project. * Optimize network performance and propose technological improvements. * Configure and monitor firewalls, switches, routers, and other network devices. * Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless integration of solutions. * Ensure compliance with internal procedures and current regulations. #### **Requirements to work as a Network Engineer** * Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering. * At least 2 years of prior experience in the design and construction of water supply and sewerage networks. * Solid knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical networks. * Teamwork ability and effective communication skills, both oral and written. ##### **Ideal competencies and profile** * Analytical, solution-oriented individuals with attention to detail. * High adaptability to changing and technology-driven environments. * Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities. * Continuous interest in innovation and professional development. ###### **Benefits of joining Sacyr** * Inclusive and collaborative work environment (awarded Sunday Times Top 100 Employer 2024 and 2025\). * Financial, emotional, and physical wellbeing programs. * Continuous training and opportunities for local and international growth. * Volunteer programs and a culture of diversity and equal opportunities. **Our commitment to diversity and equality**: At Sacyr, we believe in the value of diversity and guarantee an inclusive environment open to everyone regardless of nationality, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
