**Packaging Engineer** ---------------------- **About the Role** ------------------ Execute and support the development of projects and process improvements in production and quality to achieve higher productivity, improve packaging and process performance, and provide effective solutions to the needs of the manufacturing area, enhancing brands through packaging developments in each category. **What You Will Do** ------------- * Provide solutions to the production process regarding daily packaging needs. * Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings in the packaging production process. * Support manufacturing teams in the continuous improvement of packaging processes for different products. * Develop technical specification sheets for packaging in the production process, including (text orientation, appearance of packaging, seal design, imagery, among others). * Prepare technical data sheets for raw materials and finished products based on both internal requirements and supplier specifications. * Communicate and verify updates related to packaging changes, counts, and/or product improvements or upgrades on a biweekly basis, ensuring that production and contract manufacturing plants have the necessary packaging instructions for the process. Plan and support packaging trial runs at the plant and assist Product Analysts in test runs. * **Who You Are** **Education**: Professional degree in Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Processes, or related fields. **Experience:** 2 to 3 years in production processes, packaging development, product development. **Knowledge:** Design software (layout, 3D, logistics), packaging materials, machinery, and/or processes.
