Advanced use of specialized software (Calígola/Naxos) **Job Description** ---------------------- Our partner company is seeking a technical professional and/or technologist in footwear pattern making or design, with two (2) years’ experience as a footwear pattern maker. Mission: To develop and transform footwear designs into precise technical patterns for industrial manufacturing by creating, digitizing, and grading shoe lasts—ensuring efficient material utilization and compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities: * Create base footwear patterns adapted to the last based on designs or sketches, for various product types. * Develop and digitally model footwear in specialized CAD/CAM design software, managing seam lines, stitching, and folding margins. * Perform technical grading of parts across all sizes, ensuring proportional accuracy and model fidelity. * Prepare technical data sheets including specifications, material consumption, and assembly sequences. * Support prototype development and validation to verify fit, aesthetics, and production feasibility prior to mass manufacturing. Technical Knowledge: * Advanced proficiency in Calígola (Comelz) or Naxos (Teseo). * In-depth knowledge of materials (leathers, textiles) and their elastic and resistance properties. * Proficiency in complementary tools such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator for technical drawing. Professional Competencies: * Technical Precision: Extreme attention to detail in cut lines and margins. * Spatial Thinking: Ability to visualize 2D components on a 3D last. Salary: $3,200,000 to $5,000,000 depending on experience + statutory benefits. Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract.
