Job Summary: We are seeking a systems engineer to lead a team, ensuring the stability, availability, and security of the corporate technology platform. Key Highlights: 1. Responsibility for security, cybersecurity, and business continuity A transportation company located in Cali requires a systems engineer to lead the work team in this area, with a minimum of two years’ experience in similar positions. The purpose of this role is to ensure the stability, service availability, and perimeter security of the corporate technology platform, guaranteeing business continuity under high-demand and continuously available operational schemes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS: - Infrastructure Management: Operation and administration of technology environments integrating advanced corporate hardware and software support. - Server and Network Administration: Management of Linux/Windows servers, corporate LAN/WAN networks, and MPLS links. - Security and Cybersecurity: Perimeter security management (firewalls, IT policies) and operation of corporate antivirus platforms such as Bitdefender. - Continuity and Support: Backup management, disaster recovery planning, maintenance of critical platforms, CCTV, biometric systems, and access control. - Help Desk and Vendor Management: Coordination of incidents and requests via ServiManager, support for users at all organizational levels, and management of technology/licensing vendors. REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Linux servers and corporate services (Zimbra on Linux, Apache, databases). Advanced virtualization on Proxmox. Architecture and maintenance of workstations, laptops, printers, and connectivity.
