Join us in advancing our mission to extend lives and expand possibilities. * Coordination with the planning team regarding import purchase order shipments, visibility into priorities, and definition of the monthly import schedule. * Documentation management with overseas suppliers. * Requesting quotations via the tool defined by Vantive for shipments not covered under the Global Rate BID. * Communication with freight forwarders to coordinate international shipments, manage bookings, validate documentation, and ensure cargo traceability during international transit. * Coordination with customs brokers and government entities—including INVIMA, MINJUSTICA, ANLA, and others—as required for permits, approvals, or other import-related requirements. * Review of import supporting documents to ensure compliance with current legal requirements, and managing changes, modifications, or corrections with the product or service supplier as needed. * Communication with customs brokers to ensure proper submission of import declaration(s) and related supporting documents to DIAN. * For first-time imported products, managing tariff classification, international freight quotation, and pre-import requirement validation. * Logistics management with service providers to ensure service-level agreement compliance in terms of time, cost, and quality. * Coordination with customs brokers and logistics operators at ports/airports or Free Trade Zones to ensure cargo security during pre-inspection and physical release processes. * Coordination of local transportation with Vantive-negotiated and approved suppliers. * Coordination with warehouse logistics operators for delivery of import shipments. * Tracking and traceability of returnable cargo units within the timeframes granted by the shipping line or freight forwarders. * Document management and archiving, ensuring all import process supporting documents are digitally stored in designated folders. * Ensuring appropriate handling of import operations information, non-disclosure of confidential information, and strict adherence to the company’s ethics policies. * Review and approval of logistics service invoices, verifying that billed rates correspond to services rendered, under the negotiated or area leader–approved rate. * Ensuring timely submission of international supplier and logistics service provider invoices to the finance team. * Managing claims against international suppliers and logistics service providers, ensuring end-to-end tracking until resolution. * Providing accurate and timely information on the actual import cost per shipment to the area leader or finance team. * Alerting the area leader or finance team to import cost deviations arising from freight increases, mode-of-transport changes, tariff payments, and other factors impacting import costs. * Promptly escalating to the Outsourced Logistics Coordinator any situations posing risks or SLA breaches. * Actively participating in client-requested meetings to provide shipment status updates and advisory support for relevant processes. * Consistently pursuing efficiencies in import processes. * Reporting performance metrics for international transit, nationalization, and deliveries. * Preparing and presenting monthly operational performance reports, explaining KPI deviations and proposing and implementing corresponding action plans. **Reasonable Accommodation** Vantive is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities globally.
