**Shift/Work Schedule:** Rotating
The Packaging Operator I will perform a variety of responsibilities within the assigned area of the production facility, including operating machinery and mechanical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and resolving basic issues in accordance with established policies, procedures, and frequent guidance. In this role, you will be assigned to different work areas as needed to ensure production goals are met, support the production of quality products, and maximize performance while adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Distribute the product across various operations within the production processes.
* Operate hand tools and/or manual machinery safely and appropriately.
* Know, comply with, and promote current corporate regulations, policies, and standards.
* Package, palletize, and label finished products according to established guidelines.
* Perform product transfer, placement, and storage within designated areas.
* Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area according to company standards.
* Verify and monitor production levels and product quality, reporting any detected deviations.
* Strictly comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and EHS policies and procedures.
* Actively participate in ranking training, operational training, and any other training assigned by your immediate supervisor.
* Prepare and supply necessary inputs, tools, implements, and equipment required to initiate and sustain departmental processes.
* Execute assigned repetitive operational tasks, which may require physical effort and/or high concentration, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and sanitation specifications.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
* Must be over 18 years of age.
* Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing up and down stairs, kneeling, squatting, or twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Ability to lift up to 25 or 12.5 kilograms, with or without reasonable accommodation (as applicable).
* Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Completion of primary education.
* Ability to read and write in Spanish without difficulty.
* Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with prior notice.
**Preferred:**
* Prior experience of 6 months working in a production environment.
