We are looking for someone like you to join our **\#RumboSacyr** initiative and help us continue improving people's lives. **Job Functions and Responsibilities:** Operation and handling of machinery and equipment: * Safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery and auxiliary equipment on construction sites and facilities (backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, bulldozers, mobile cranes, material lifts, truck-mounted cranes, generators, and compaction equipment) in accordance with operational procedures and manufacturer manuals. * Conduct pre-start checks: visual inspections, fluid levels, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, braking systems, and safety devices. * Perform loading, unloading, internal transportation, and material positioning maneuvers, ensuring stability and safety within the work zone and coordinating with the signaling team. * Execute precise movements in confined spaces and urban construction sites, following instructions from the site supervisor and respecting load limits and machine reach. Basic maintenance and equipment care: * Carry out preventive maintenance and preservation tasks (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, accessory adjustments, and hydraulic circuit inspections), reporting malfunctions or repair needs to the specialized maintenance team. * Assist in simple disassembly/assembly operations and prepare equipment for technician interventions when required. * Record performed operations, machine hours, and detected anomalies in logbooks and work orders, ensuring traceability and compliance with documentation requirements. Safety and operational coordination: * Strictly apply safety regulations, including wearing helmets, harnesses, personal protective equipment (PPE), and lockout/tagout (LOTO) systems where applicable; comply with work permits and hazard area signage. * Coordinate with surveying teams, site supervisors, support workers, and signaling personnel to minimize risks and optimize execution timelines. * Attend daily safety meetings (briefings/work permits) and immediately report incidents or situations jeopardizing personnel or equipment safety. Quality and continuous improvement: * Follow quality and environmental conservation procedures, proposing operational improvements to optimize consumption, time efficiency, and reduce environmental impact. * Use recording and control systems (logbooks, digital forms, and CMMS) to report equipment performance and suggest preventive actions. * Participate in internal training programs and refresher courses on best practices for operations and safety. **We seek a candidate with the following requirements and competencies:** * Education: Intermediate or advanced vocational training (FP) in Maintenance, Mechanics, Electromechanics, Construction, Technical Engineering, or equivalent professional qualifications in machinery. * Experience: Prior experience of 1–5 years operating machinery on construction sites, plants, or service operations is valued; however, it is not mandatory for recently qualified candidates. * Knowledge: Proficiency in operating mobile equipment, basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, ability to read basic drawings and schematics, and use of hand and electric tools. * Licenses: Mandatory driver’s license class B; licenses C, C1, and authorization to operate cranes/PLATFORMS/MACHINERY per local regulations are valued. * Competencies: Safety- and quality-oriented mindset, responsibility, teamwork capability, effective communication, proactivity, and time management under pressure. * Willingness to work on construction sites, rotate shifts, and travel as required by operational needs; residency in the job location is preferred. * Desirable certifications: Occupational risk prevention courses, LOTO training, specific machinery operation courses, road safety courses, and first aid training certificates. **What We Offer:** * Contract: Indefinite-term contract, subject to evaluation and company policy. * Social benefits: Health insurance, work-life balance policies, flexible compensation, and performance recognition. * Professional development: Continuous training, opportunities for internal mobility, and participation in international and high-impact projects. * A dynamic work environment grounded in collaborative intelligence, excellence, and comprehensive social responsibility.
