Overview and main responsibilities At Prysmian, we are looking for an Electromechanical Technician to join our team. Based in Bogotá - Colombia, the objective is to provide technical support and ensure equipment availability and reliability in the plant. Main responsibilities 1. Carry out activities specified in work orders and maintain the physical plant and equipment in good condition 2. Report any irregularities found in the operation of machinery or support equipment 3. Perform corrective maintenance, participate in preventive maintenance, and support industrial installations. 4. Comply with established safety guidelines and promote workplace safety. 5. Comply with environmental programs and the use of chemical substances 6. Fulfill the Matrix of Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities regarding the Occupational Health and Safety Management System 7. Keep workstations and workshops properly organized and clean, complying with the 6S culture. Who are we looking for? Electromechanical technician / technologist More than 2 years of experience Knowledge in:* Programming of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, Industrial field networks, Instrumentation and system control * Electrical/electronic maintenance, programming languages (Java, Visual Basic), Pneumatics, Hydraulics. * Handling and control of hazardous energy. Industrial installations.
