Reports To Operations Coordinator, Lead Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, Director of Operations Specific Responsibilities * Ensure that planning for required field monitoring activities is carried out in an organized and controlled manner. * Optimize proper use and maintenance of work equipment and promptly report damages or anomalies in equipment performance to your direct supervisor. * Ensure compliance with applicable technical, administrative, and quality standards and procedures in your work area. * Ensure availability of necessary work materials or consumables to support smooth execution of your assigned operations. * Ensure appropriate and efficient use of materials and consumables received for the operation. * Guarantee timely, accurate, and prompt delivery of required information to both internal and external customers. * Ensure proper handling of all equipment under your responsibility. * Ensure availability of necessary technical support for proper functioning of computing equipment and information security. * Ensure compliance with safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client at the worksite. * Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment during task execution. * Promptly inform your immediate supervisor of any non-conforming products in your process or customer complaints and/or claims. * Actively participate in identifying corrective, preventive actions, and improvement plans. * Actively participate in both internal and external audits scheduled by the Minerals Sector. * Prepare quotations and conduct follow-up accordingly. * Visit current and potential clients. * Prepare activity reports as requested. * Control operational expenses under your responsibility. * Actively participate in preparation process execution. * Actively participate in monitoring and quality control processes required for the operation. * Actively participate in weighing and/or control recording tasks at CCLAS. * Actively participate in quality management system recordkeeping processes. * Ensure control and supervision of assistants and operators during work activities. * Maintain equipment, facilities, or inspection instruments in good condition for preventive or corrective maintenance. * Actively participate in HSE processes and other related health, safety, and environmental activities. * Ensure compliance with applicable technical, operational, administrative, and quality standards and procedures in your area. * Request necessary consumables for operation execution. * Ensure proper handling of all equipment under your responsibility. * Promptly inform your immediate supervisor of any non-conforming products in your process. * Actively participate in identifying corrective, preventive actions, and improvement plans. * Actively participate in both internal and external audits scheduled by the Minerals Sector. * Optimize procurement volume and scheduling for consumables, tools, and spare parts for your operational area. * Ensure procurement of necessary equipment for operations. * Guarantee planning and coordination of all operational activities within your assigned area. * Assign tasks, activity schedules, define operational parameters and instructions, and deliver them to operators. * Ensure control and supervision of personnel deployed in your operational area and control operational expenses. * Guarantee delivery of required technical and operational information. * Optimize control of maintenance programs and IT systems that streamline operational processes. * Verify metrological assurance of equipment under your responsibility, where applicable. * Ensure timely response to any non-conforming products in your process or internal customer complaints and/or claims. * Ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment entrusted to SGS Colombia under your custody. * Ensure compliance with safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client at the worksite. * Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment during task execution. * Prepare general monitoring reports. * Any other duties inherent to this position as assigned. **Requirements** Academic Qualification: Chemical Engineer, Mining Engineer, or Chemist. Experience: Two years of experience in similar positions. **Technical Knowledge:** * Technical standards for sampling, coal preparation, and analysis. * Basic Microsoft Office suite. * English. **Competencies:** Responsible, Proactive, Strong interpersonal skills, Attention to detail, Committed, Dynamic, and Holistic.
