FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE Perform required product manufacturing activities in compliance with specific manufacturing and safety procedures and instructions for each process stage, to meet quality, safety, productivity, and on-time delivery goals for our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform and document material verification per established procedures to ensure process stages and prevent quality escapes. * Report discrepancies or anomalies in a production stage or equipment operating outside established ranges to minimize non-conforming product generation and ensure product quality. * Keep first-level maintenance checklists up to date to ensure proper equipment operation and reduce corrective maintenance costs. * Verify and complete equipment approval stickers and other operational forms according to the assigned process to ensure proper equipment segregation. * Conduct shift handover/receipt to communicate relevant updates regarding products under manufacture and equipment status. * Report unsafe or inappropriate behaviors, processes, equipment, or facilities to the supervisor to enable appropriate corrective actions. **About us:** **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD**® Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
