Opportunities for professional growth and development **Job Description:** A prestigious restaurant is seeking a highly committed Sous Chef with solid experience in kitchen operations and team leadership, responsible for supporting comprehensive kitchen management, ensuring quality standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with health and sanitation regulations. **Main Responsibilities:** * Support the Executive Chef in planning, organizing, and supervising daily kitchen operations. * Supervise proper recipe execution, plating, and service timing. * Lead, coordinate, and train the kitchen team (hot line, cold line, production). * Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards. * Control inventory, product rotation (FIFO), and requisition of supplies. * Verify proper food storage and preservation. * Ensure adherence to technical specifications and portion control. * Support the creation and standardization of new dishes. * Manage performance indicators (costs, waste, delivery times, customer satisfaction). * Cover Executive Chef duties in their absence. **Requirements:** * Technical, technological, or university degree in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, or related fields. * Minimum 2–4 years’ experience as Sous Chef or in similar positions. * Experience in high-volume restaurants and/or fine dining establishments. * Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). * Leadership, teamwork, and assertive communication skills. * Strong attention to detail and results-oriented mindset. * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Working Conditions:** * Salary: To be agreed upon based on experience. * Statutory benefits. * Tips. * Meals during shift. * Opportunities for professional growth and development.
