Position Description At Amaris Consulting, we are looking for a Senior Security Engineer / Cybersecurity Analyst to join a Banking and Financial sector project, operating under a hybrid model in Bogotá. You will be part of a strategic initiative focused on comprehensive IT and information security risk management, participating in the design, implementation, and enhancement of security architectures in cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring high standards of protection and regulatory compliance. Your Responsibilities Manage IT and application security risks. Design and evaluate security architectures in cloud and on-premise environments. Application-level security (protection controls, monitoring and control, source code vulnerabilities) IT infrastructure (firewall rules, Operating Systems (Linux/Windows), Databases (Oracle/SQL)) Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) Apply standards and regulatory frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0. Lead initiatives in Network Security, Application Security, and Data Security. Implement security-by-default principles. Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability analysis. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Collaborate with technical and business teams to integrate security from the earliest phases of projects. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. 7–10 years of experience in Application Security roles. **Solid experience in:** Security architectures. Cloud and on-premise security. Application-level security (protection controls, monitoring and control, source code vulnerabilities) Basic knowledge of network and application architecture.
