We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while simultaneously helping to provide the energy, chemicals, and resources needed today. **Objective:** Responsible for executing and assigning intermediate-to-complex engineering tasks, based on capability, intermediate-level knowledge, specialization, and experience within one or multiple engineering domains—and specifically within their discipline—as well as other types of products and systems. Their work follows established practices and procedures and may require periodic review. Depending on requirements, they may lead small groups in projects or work teams. **Responsibilities:** Typically possesses more than 5 years of relevant experience in the discipline and competent knowledge and understanding of regulations, codes, design and fabrication standards, and industry-standard practices. Technical guidance is typically available to review work programs and advise on unusual features of assignments. * Works in teams of up to four people reporting directly to them—either participating or leading—and such teams may consist of engineers and designers from the same discipline, though they hold no authority over performance evaluations affecting other professionals’ salaries. * Maintains consistent and effective communication with the work team to inform and persuade on complex matters and issues through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and discipline management. * Competent in using tools such as Microsoft 365 and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams). Can navigate intranet pages, perform searches, and retrieve information. Can organize information from multiple sources and retain it per established format and policies. * Works competently and efficiently with specialized design, analysis, and modeling tools, and interdisciplinary data-centric methods. * Builds appropriate, constructive, and effective relationships across the organization; uses diplomacy and tact, remains approachable, and communicates clearly, precisely, and coherently both verbally and in writing. Applies active listening principles and encourages feedback from and to others. * Works in teams visible to senior stakeholders, capable of collaborating and engaging with multiple teams and stakeholders, prioritizing workloads, and supporting other team members in achieving their goals. * Achieves outcomes set by themselves and others, meeting defined deadlines. * Strives to achieve ambitious goals, demonstrating enthusiasm, persistence, and tenacity. * Breaks down and prioritizes work into executable tasks. * Takes ownership of produced work and ensures it is "right first time." * Adapts to learning and implementing new, increasingly complex concepts. * * Carefully and thoroughly examines problems and understands their interdependencies to propose solutions. **Requirements:** Professional Experience: 5 \-10 years If you require any **accessibility accommodations**, please be sure to specify them in your application. **Moving Forward Together** We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can speak up, and will be heard.
