It is globally recognized as the benchmark for quality and integrity, with over 95,000 employees and a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** As a team member, you will perform various data entry, management, and reporting activities as trained and assigned within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or other database system to ensure information accuracy in reports. Specific Responsibilities: * At all times, comply with the SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. * Enter various data, record work, and validate the accuracy of certain operational data in the laboratory LIMS as trained and assigned. Key focus areas may include sample login data, field data, subcontractor laboratory data, verification of report data accuracy, invoice data, maintenance of a customer database, and others. * Perform other data quality verification tasks assigned in the future. * Provide reports documenting reviews and changes when required. * Ensure laboratory deadlines are met and immediately notify the GBS Team Coordinator (or the section Laboratory Manager in their absence) if the specified response time cannot be met. * Adopt and support specific operational improvement activities communicated by the GBS EHS Supervisor. These projects will focus on improving quality and efficiency. * Seek efficiency gains in your section by staying aware of emerging technologies and reviewing existing procedures. * Capable of responding to technical inquiries. * Perform other related tasks assigned, either in support of departmental objectives or for your training, education, or personal or professional development, as scheduled by your immediate supervisor. * Ensure the GBS workplace remains clean and presentable at all times. * Remain familiar with SGS quality control procedures. * Comply with all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures. **Requirements** **Academic Qualifications:** * Minimum four-year university degree from an internationally accredited institution. * Intermediate-to-advanced English (B2+ level). **Experience:** * Minimum one year of experience in data entry, management, and verification is preferred. * Demonstrated experience in data quality and operational excellence. **Technical Knowledge:** * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level) * Strong MS Excel skills * Detail-oriented * High level of integrity * Ability to learn new software programs * Teamwork and cooperation * Organization and efficiency * Accountability **Additional Information** Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Mode: On-site Salary: 3,000,000 COP Contract: Initial temporary contract for six months, followed by direct indefinite-term employment with SGS.
