Position Summary: Lead and standardize the Internal Control sub-function globally, ensuring an effective, consistent, and mature system for Grupo Nutresa. Key Highlights: 1. Mastery of COSO and risk management **PURPOSE** Lead and standardize the Internal Control sub-function globally for Grupo Nutresa, ensuring implementation of an effective, consistent, and mature control system. The role coordinates the network of business specialists to ensure strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, and reliability of information, acting as the Group’s primary validator of technical standards. The primary focus is to drive execution, support business units, and mobilize them to effectively implement and adjust audit findings. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** * **Education:** Degree in Engineering, Finance, Administration, or related disciplines. * **Languages:** English at B2 level. * **Experience:** Minimum 6 years in internal control or auditing, with demonstrable experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional processes in multinational environments. Experience in Big 4 audit firms or companies with advanced internal control models is desirable. **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (Critical and Technical Competencies)** * Proficiency in COSO (international internal control framework). * Risk management (ERM). * Strong technical accounting and finance knowledge. * Process auditing methodologies. * High ability to communicate assertively, conveying complex technical concepts clearly and strategically. * Ability to lead and mobilize matrix, remote, and multicultural teams. * Negotiation skills with business finance leadership. * Strategic vision for standardizing complex processes. * Leadership, argumentation, influence, and mobilization competencies. * CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CICS (Certified Internal Control Specialist) certification \- Desirable **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Direct the deployment strategy of the internal control system across all companies and geographies, ensuring business annual plans align with corporate guidelines. * Provide technical leadership to the Internal Control team, establishing common objectives, evaluation methodologies, and reporting criteria to ensure model cohesion. * Supervise the design and effectiveness of the control framework (COSO) in the Group’s critical processes, validating that internal control certifications issued by business units are robust and supported by required technical evidence. * Coordinate with business leaders on the proper assignment and performance of local internal control specialists, ensuring they possess the necessary autonomy and technical rigor for their role. * Consolidate a global view of risks and controls for senior management, transforming local business data into strategic reports that identify systemic trends or weaknesses across the Group. * Lead the Internal Control technical committee or community of practice, fostering knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices among specialists across geographies. * Ensure continuous updates to internal control policies and manuals in response to changes in the business model, new regulations, or integration of new companies into the Group. * Supervise the use and evolution of supporting technological tools (GRC), ensuring complete and efficient documentation of controls and tracking of action plans across the entire network. * Promote internal control culture among business executive levels, encouraging self-control and process owners’ accountability for risk mitigation to ensure definitive closure and adjustment of audit findings.
