You will ensure proper lubrication of all plant machinery and equipment to optimize performance, extend asset life, reduce operational costs, and identify key hazards and risks associated with lubricated equipment; you will provide technical support and manage initiatives aimed at reinforcing Process Safety commitment and systematically reducing risks. Budget management, KPI standardization, performance, IPS implementation, audits, SAP\-PM standardization, reliability, digital transformation, reliability, engineering **What You’ll Do:** * Qualitative and quantitative lubricant analysis applied to reliability, including design and projection of lubrication routes. * Ensure optimization of Lubricant Consumption, identify improvement opportunities, and propose actions to reduce costs without compromising reliability. * Serve as the primary technical reference in the areas of tribology and mechanics. * Manage contracts with lubricant suppliers and related service providers; ensure lubricant studies and diagnostics (oil and grease analysis). * Manage inventories, control lubricant inventory levels, and ensure their availability at all times. * Approve/be consulted on Management of Change (MOC) activities related to lubricated equipment and changes in inspection frequencies or procedures per PMO strategy. * Analyze and support resolution of area-related issues and lead Root Cause Analyses; investigate causes of lubrication failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Propose equipment improvements aligned with process requirements. * Capture lessons learned and incorporate Industry Best Practices for lubricated equipment. * Provide guidance to Mechanical\-Lubrication team personnel and oversight during plant shutdowns for lubricant changes. * Monitor and ensure lubricated equipment remains consistently aligned with design intent and safe operating parameters. * Collaborate with various Engineering disciplines to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to problem solving. * Respond to support requests from the Projects Group. * Maintain technical competency by continuously updating knowledge on technology, industry developments related to your discipline, and applicable legal requirements. * Map, assess/manage risks using the correlational database between SAP and process parameters. * Keep equipment information updated in the system and in the field, reporting modifications and new installations existing in the Factory. * Administer equipment intervention data for tribology indicator management. * Prepare Inspection Reports (Checklists) for new equipment and seek to optimize existing ones. * Maintain assigned tribology management equipment and software, such as PCs, laboratory equipment, thermal imaging cameras, etc. * Industrial safety and occupational health: Report to the ARL and inform the occupational safety and health area whenever workplace incidents or accidents occur. * Propose and implement process improvements in the area to optimize operational costs and increase sector efficiency. * Promote practices aimed at reducing lubricant consumption through efficient resource use and continuous procedure improvement. * Develop strategies to extend equipment lifespan, ensuring correct operation and preventive maintenance. * Identify and mitigate causes of unplanned downtime related to lubrication system failures. * Design, implement, and maintain an oil analysis program for equipment condition monitoring, supporting technical and operational decision-making. **What You’ll Bring:** * Professional degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering with experience in mechanical and/or tribology sectors. * Certification or coursework in lubrication/tribology preferred; courses and/or certifications in industrial lubrication (e.g., Certified Lubrication Specialist \- CLS), ICML, etc. * Industry knowledge: experience in maintenance, reliability, processes or project engineering; experience with third-party management tools. * Fundamental general knowledge of mechanical equipment applied in machines, equipment and industrial processes. * Key skills: Proficiency with communication tools, Outlook, Teams, SAP\-PM, Power BI, Office suite. * Languages: Basic English **Who You Are:** * Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, teamwork, communication. **Why Join Ingredion?** **We offer a competitive benefits package aligned with our values and objectives, including incentives, health, learning, recognition, wellness, and more.** Ingredion uses AI\-enabled tools to support parts of the recruitment process, including resume screening and interview scheduling.
