Cable coating operator

Description

Job Summary: Operate and maintain coating machinery, apply protective insulation, control coating thickness and quality, detect defects, perform basic maintenance, interpret blueprints, apply welding, verify joints, and operate wire drawing machines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coating machinery operation and maintenance 2. Insulation application and quality control 3. Blueprint interpretation and welding application Operate coating machines (extruders). Apply protective insulation to cables. Control coating thickness and quality. Detect insulation defects. Perform basic equipment maintenance. Interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Prepare materials and surfaces. Apply processes such as welding. Verify joint strength and quality. Comply with industrial safety standards. Operate wire drawing machines. Control material diameter reduction. Supervise wire or cable quality. Lubricate and adjust dies.
