Position Summary: We are seeking a committed General Physician to provide comprehensive care to incarcerated individuals in a high-demand environment. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive care for incarcerated individuals 2. Assistance functions including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment 3. Participation in Promotion and Prevention (PyP) A prominent health sector institution requires a General Physician to deliver services at the Cómbita (Boyacá) Penitentiary Establishment, providing comprehensive care to incarcerated individuals (PPL). We seek a dedicated professional with a strong service vocation and experience in clinical assistance, capable of performing effectively in high-demand environments. Main Responsibilities: Conduct general medical consultations for incarcerated individuals Patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment Management of basic emergencies and priority care Follow-up and control of acute and chronic conditions Completion and updating of clinical records Prescription of medications and ordering of diagnostic tests as appropriate Adherence to institutional protocols and clinical practice guidelines Participation in Promotion and Prevention (PyP) activities Requirements: Medical degree Valid registration in RETHUS Minimum 1 year of experience (including Mandatory Social Service) Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and comprehensive care for victims of sexual violence (or those required by current regulations) Teamwork skills, leadership, and decision-making ability Proficient handling of clinical records and basic computer tools Working Conditions: Contract Type: Service Provision (OPS) Honorarium: $5,331,000 Workload: 192 hours per month Schedule: Rotating shifts Work Location: Cómbita (Boyacá) Penitentiary Establishment If you meet the profile and are interested, apply now and join our team. -Requirements- Minimum Education: University / Professional Degree 1 year of experience Keywords: doctor, physician, medical doctor, generalist, generalist, general
