**Job Description:** We are seeking a **Discharge Inspector**, a **technician or technologist in Civil Construction, Environmental Sanitation, Environmental Control, or related fields**, to support the supervision and control of activities related to discharges generated during the execution of **water supply and/or sewerage works**. Their primary purpose will be to verify compliance with current environmental regulations, particularly those related to discharges, wastewater management, and control of environmental impacts associated with construction works, ensuring responsible operations in accordance with legal and contractual requirements. **Main Responsibilities:** * Verify and supervise discharges generated during the execution of water supply and/or sewerage works, ensuring compliance with current environmental regulations. * Conduct field inspections to identify potential impacts on water bodies, soils, and sewerage systems. * Control the proper operation of temporary and permanent wastewater and discharge management systems. * Support monitoring of permits, authorizations, and environmental obligations related to discharges. * Identify environmental deviations or non-compliances and promptly report them to the contract manager. * Support implementation of preventive, mitigating, and corrective measures for impacts associated with discharges. * Prepare records, minutes, and technical reports related to discharge review and control. * Accompany operational staff in applying good environmental practices during activity execution. * Support response to environmental contingencies related to spills, overflows, or uncontrolled discharges. * Verify compliance with environmental, occupational safety, and health regulations in the field, associated with activities under their supervision. **Requirements:** **Education:** Technician or technologist in Civil Construction, Environmental Sanitation, Environmental Control, or related fields. **General Experience:** Minimum **three (3) years** of experience in activities related to water supply and/or sewerage works. **Minimum Mandatory Experience:** Specific experience in **water supply and sewerage works, or exclusively sewerage works**, with emphasis on discharge control, field inspections, and environmental monitoring. **We Offer:** **Contract Type:** **Project-based or Task-based Contract**, linked to the execution of water supply and/or sewerage projects. **Salary:** *To be agreed upon* **Benefits:** Payroll advance and access to the employee fund.
