Position: MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT Experience: 1 year operating heavy machinery Education: Technologist degree in electromechanics, mechatronics, or mechanics. Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: Medellín and the Metropolitan Area **Responsibilities:** 1.1. Permanently manage tool inventory and ensure it remains complete and in good condition. 1.2. Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of all equipment and tools, as well as maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse and other work areas. 1.3. Attend and complete training sessions provided by supervisors and/or external contractors of the company. 1.4. Report potential equipment failures or anomalies to maintenance engineers. 1.5. Apply technical knowledge of machinery construction principles and practices for the benefit of the department. 1.6. Conduct machine and equipment inspections, as well as measurements and recording of results. 1.7. Consistently contribute, to the best of one’s ability, toward continuous improvement of the mechanical department. 1.8. Execute the existing preventive maintenance program. 1.9. Continuously provide the department with control information and measurement data (hours, kilometers). 2.0. Maintain operational status of measurement control devices (hour meters and tachometers). 2.1. Implement a predictive maintenance plan focused on tribological oil analysis (sample collection, receipt and analysis of results, action plan) Employment Type: Full-time
