The **Purchasing Manager** is responsible for planning, managing, and controlling the procurement process for raw materials, supplies, food products, and items related to the establishment’s commercial operations, ensuring quality, competitive costs, compliance with sanitary regulations, and timely product availability. **Main Responsibilities** * Plan and execute purchases of food, chocolates, raw materials, supplies, packaging, and general supplies. * Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring optimal conditions regarding price, quality, delivery times, and payment terms. * Ensure compliance with sanitary regulations, food safety standards, and legal requirements for purchased products. * Monitor inventories, product turnover, expiration dates, and minimum and maximum stock levels. * Coordinate with production, kitchen, sales, and administration departments to ensure procurement aligns with demand. * Analyze costs, budgets, and price fluctuations to optimize resources. * Manage purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoice verification. * Propose improvements in purchasing processes, supplier performance, and logistics. * Prepare purchasing reports, consumption reports, and management indicators.
