As an OSH Resident at Grupo Ortiz, you will hold the fundamental responsibility of planning, controlling, maintaining, and coordinating activities of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSH-MS). You will work closely with occupational safety and health inspectors, implementing effective strategies to minimize risks of occupational accidents and diseases. Your role will be critical in protecting our valuable workforce, exposed to inherent risks associated with our operations. Your expertise will be key to ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence in occupational safety and health. **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan, implement, and supervise the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSH-MS) across all Grupo Ortiz projects and operations. * Develop, implement, and maintain occupational safety and health policies, procedures, and programs. * Conduct periodic safety inspections and audits to identify and assess risks, and propose corrective and preventive measures. * Coordinate and lead investigations of incidents and occupational accidents, determining root causes and proposing improvement actions. * Ensure compliance with current occupational safety and health legislation, including Resolution 0312 of 2019 and other applicable regulations. * Manage and supervise high-risk activities, ensuring execution under the strictest safety standards. * Coordinate and supervise work at heights, in confined spaces, and load lifting operations, complying with specific resolutions and regulations (Resolution 4272/2021, Resolution 491 of 2020, and ONAC guidelines). * Deliver occupational safety and health training and capacity-building to personnel. * Promote a positive and participatory safety culture throughout the organization. * Maintain up-to-date emergency and contingency plans. * Manage documentation and records related to the OSH-MS. * Collaborate with senior management and other departments to integrate safety into all business facets. * Interpret construction drawings and designs from a safety perspective. * Ensure personnel possess required courses and certifications for their duties, including the 50-hour OSH-MS course and first aid certification. **Job Requirements:** * Minimum 5 years’ experience as an OSH Resident, OSH Coordinator, or in similar roles, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector. * Professional degree (Engineer, Graduate, or Specialist) in fields related to Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Engineering, or related areas. * Valid Occupational Safety and Health License. * Certification for the 50-hour OSH-MS course. * In-depth knowledge and practical experience applying Resolution 0312 of 2019. * Valid certification as Safe Work at Heights Coordinator (Resolution 4272/2021). * Valid certification as Confined Spaces Supervisor (Resolution 491 of 2020). * Valid certification as Load Lifting Supervisor (ONAC). * Proven experience executing and supervising high-risk activities. * Updated Basic First Aid course. * Ability to interpret construction drawings and designs with a focus on safety. * Valid B1 driving license. * Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. * Results-oriented, proactive, and highly responsible. **Additional Valued Skills (Non-Exclusive):** * Knowledge of international occupational safety and health standards. * Experience implementing ISO 45001 management systems. * Proficiency in specialized occupational safety and health management software. * Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
