Ensure the sustainable evolution of software architecture **Job Title** Software Development Engineer About The Business Area/Department : Amadeus Business Rules (ABR) is a Mission Critical Application that creates generic rules covering most of internal application needs, and specific rules covering very specific cases (i.e. the exceptions to the generic rules). Our team is getting part of the tech strategy and evolution of the company. It demands a strong engineering view of the system to achieve the best results of performance, scalability and integration on cloud. Summary of the role: You will manage solution development, shape cloud strategies, and support operations. Your role includes guiding technical decisions for public cloud solutions using agile/SAFe methodologies and building SRE skills to deploy applications across environments. In this role you’ll: * Participate in the technical design and implementation of new features * Develop software according to Amadeus guidelines and highest quality standards * Implement and automate the appropriate level of unit testing to ensure maintaining high level of software quality * Participate in the validation phase, and provide support to QA teams * Ensure the sustainable evolution of software architecture * Communicate and collaborate in an open and constructive manner with all the stakeholders (Product Definition, Quality Assurance, Management, train leaders…) * Produce software documentation necessary for the application usage and support * Support the end users in production by performing the appropriate level of investigation in case of issues and propose solutions in the shortest possible timeframe * Deploy and maintain the software on different platforms * Perform other standard SRE activities About the ideal candidate: * 5\+ years of experience in software development. * Strong expertise in C\+\+ or Java (Spring Boot / Spring Framework). * Knowledge of Linux systems. * Solid understanding of SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). * Experience with CI/CD pipelines. * Familiarity with Docker and basic containerization concepts. * Strong knowledge of software design principles and patterns. * Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. * Knowledge of cloud environments.
