**Job Purpose:** Perform welding, cutting, and repair work on metallic structures, pipelines, and equipment located in external plant areas, ensuring safety, operational continuity, and compliance with quality, hygiene, and industrial safety standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Key Responsibilities and Duties:** * Perform welding tasks (electric, MIG, TIG, or oxyacetylene, as required) on structures, enclosures, platforms, supports, handrails, and external equipment. * Carry out cutting, assembly, and repair of metallic components used in external plant areas. * Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance on metallic structures exposed to weather conditions. * Interpret drawings, sketches, and technical specifications for assigned tasks. * Prepare materials, equipment, and tools required for each task. * Strictly comply with occupational health and safety regulations, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and internal plant procedures. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area, preventing contamination or accident risks. * Coordinate activities with the maintenance department and plant supervision. * Report faults, risks, or repair needs identified during work. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Job Requirements:** * Technical training in welding or related fields. * Proven experience in industrial welding and maintenance of metallic structures. * Knowledge of blueprint reading and use of welding and cutting tools. * Basic knowledge of industrial safety and hygiene standards in food plants (desirable).
