Analyze and efficiently manage spend and suppliers to achieve significant cost savings and financial benefits for the Company, with potential identification and implementation of local, regional, and/or global supply projects/strategies that increase business profitability and mitigate supply risk in accordance with global/local policies and procedures established by the Procurement department. Act as an internal consultant by understanding their needs and supporting the achievement of their objectives and strategic plans. * Address purchasing needs for the category(s) under your responsibility to provide goods and services on time and as required by stakeholders and involved departments. * Manage category spending through appropriate analysis to identify and implement potential cost-saving and improvement projects. * Generate contracts for strategic/critical suppliers in collaboration with stakeholders and the Legal department to ensure business continuity by mitigating commercial, quality, and supply risks. * Generate market intelligence related to your responsible category(s) to identify new business opportunities with strategic suppliers that bring economic and operational performance benefits. * Manage the procurement process to ensure timely and accurate supply of products and services. Define implementation strategy for catalogs within assigned category(s). * Collaborate with team members through close communication with colleagues in Procurement and Category Managers assigned to the category(s) within the local, regional, and global Procurement structure. * Other responsibilities as assigned **What You Will Bring to Vantive** * University degree or equivalent education in Administrative or Engineering fields. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a buyer or in similar roles within the Procurement area. Solid knowledge of the procurement process. * Expertise in negotiation management for goods and services categories. * Advanced proficiency in Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). * Knowledge of ERP software (JDE platform preferred) and procurement systems (COUPA, Ariba, SAP preferred). Strong execution of procurement processes (RFXs, Rebates, consignment, etc).
