The Welfare \& Self\-Reliance Manager is the single point of contact for Area and local leaders, providing awareness, training, and support, for Church resources and services, to help local leaders minister to those in need. Coordinates with the Area Seventy the implementation of department programs. Under the direction of the Seventy, trains stake presidents and bishops in all matters related to welfare and self-reliance such as: administration of fast offerings, welfare programs, emotional services, humanitarian services, food services, self-reliance services, use of church and community resources, among others. Frequently trains stake councils and leaders and resolves pending cases referred from GSD, in coordination with Area education and employment specialists. Develops resources to address needs in employment, education, business, emotional challenges, management of fast offerings, food, health services, and others; according to the needs of stake leaders and members, and welfare and self-reliance plans. Evaluates schools and programs to facilitate the educational loan process. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related fields. A master's degree is desirable. Minimum of 06 years of professional experience, with at least 02 years in management and supervisory roles. Intermediate level in Microsoft Office. Intermediate level in English (desirable). Effective coach, facilitator, and communicator. Analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills at all levels, results-oriented, effective communication, responsibility, and time management. Flexibility to travel to other provinces when required by the organization. Availability to travel. Must possess a valid driver's license.
