




**Mission:** Carry out the preparation and delivery of meal plans for children and staff of the Foundation using raw materials, in accordance with guidelines established by ICBF and food safety regulations. **Knowledge:** Experience handling meal plans. Experience preparing food for at least 100 people. Food handling course. Preparation of simple meals. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare everything related to the setup and preparation of food and beverages for lunch and dinner. Additionally, clean and organize the area. Review the menu to prepare all inputs and raw materials needed for the next day's breakfast. * Select, clean, cut, and chop food items, placing them into appropriate containers for later use in menu preparation. * Measure and weigh vegetables, greens, and fruits that will be used in food preparation, and inspect refrigerator temperatures to report anomalies and arrange repairs. * Prepare breakfast, lunch, mid-morning snack, and dinner meals and beverages for the Foundation's children according to menus established by the nutritionist. * Portion baby food and assist in preparing creams, soups, and other foods specified by the nutritionist for infants. Distribute food onto plates according to menus and indicated portion sizes. Serve and collect dishes from the dining area. * Prepare well-being drinks, juices, and fruit served during the afternoon session to the Foundation's children, ensuring portions comply with recommendations provided by the nutritionist. * Prepare vitamins for children as directed by the nutritionist and physician. * Receive, inspect, and organize supplier deliveries, following established standards regarding quality, cold chain handling, storage, and shelf life of food items. * Receive and organize kitchen orders (vegetables, greens, fruits, dry goods, and meats) into designated storage units according to instructions. Maintain perfect cleanliness and order in the kitchen, equipment, and facilities, including dishware, cutlery, cookware, pots, and other utensils. * Maintain a record of fruit usage in the kardex system, specifying what is used, weight, and number of children served, to prepare ingredients for snacks.
