You will play a key role in implementing scalable and high\-quality solutions based on defined software designs and architectural guidelines, while collaborating closely with architects, testers, integrators, and multidisciplinary teams in agile environments. * Develop and implement custom backend solutions following software designs and architecture guidelines defined by the technical team. * Build, maintain, and enhance web applications and backend services in agile delivery environments across on\-premise and cloud infrastructures. * Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and SOAP web services to support business and system integration needs. * Work with integration platforms and service buses such as Mule or similar technologies to enable reliable connectivity between systems. * Develop robust and scalable services using **Java** as the main programming language; knowledge of C\+\+, Python, or Node.js is a plus. * Build backend applications using **Spring Boot**; exposure to frameworks such as **.NET**, **Express.js**, or **Django** is considered an advantage. * Work with relational databases such as **PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle**, and non\-relational databases such as **MongoDB** or **Firebase**. * Implement containerized applications using technologies such as **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. * Apply software engineering best practices, including design patterns, clean code principles, and scalable architecture standards. * Create and execute **unit tests** and **integration tests**, ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria and expected quality standards. * Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint execution to ensure timely and high\-quality delivery. * Generate, maintain, and update clear and concise technical documentation related to software development processes and solutions. * Collaborate with cross\-functional stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, solve technical problems, and continuously improve delivery efficiency. * Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines using tools such as **Jenkins** and version control systems such as **Git**. ### **Who You Are** * At least **6 years of experience** in software development, with a strong focus on **backend technologies**. * Proven experience developing web applications in **agile environments**, including both **on\-premise** and **cloud\-based** ecosystems. * Strong command of **Java**; additional exposure to **C\+\+**, **Python**, or **Node.js** is a plus. * Solid experience with **Spring Boot** and good understanding of backend development frameworks. * Hands\-on experience with **integration buses** such as **Mule** or similar platforms is required. * Good knowledge of relational and non\-relational databases. * Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. * Strong understanding of **software design patterns**, service\-oriented development, and API integration. * Experience building and consuming **RESTful APIs** and **SOAP web services**. * Practical knowledge of testing practices, including unit and integration testing. * Familiarity with **Agile methodologies** such as **Scrum** and **Kanban**, as well as collaboration tools like **JIRA** and **Confluence**. * Experience using **Git** for version control. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, project leaders, and stakeholders. * Ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation. * Team\-oriented mindset with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback. * Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify, troubleshoot, and solve technical challenges. * Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines. * Curiosity, adaptability, and openness to learning new technologies and methodologies. * English B1 ### **More About PALO IT** We're eager to adapt to change, learn from our experiences and move to meet our planet's urgent needs.
