Working Hours: Monday from 7:30 a.m.; Tuesday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:20 p.m.; Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Job Description:
A leading national metal-mechanical company specializing in the manufacturing and installation of water storage tanks requires an HSEQ Manager to lead, plan, implement, and control the Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements in quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management.
The incumbent will be responsible for promoting a safety culture, ensuring HSEQ standard compliance at production facilities and projects, managing internal and external audits, and leading the organization’s continuous improvement programs.
Requirements:
Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related fields.
Postgraduate specialization in Occupational Health and Safety, Integrated Management Systems, or related areas.
Valid Occupational Health and Safety license.
Minimum 5 years’ experience leading HSEQ processes in metal-mechanical, construction, industrial assembly, or manufacturing companies.
Knowledge and experience implementing and maintaining the following standards:
ISO 9001:2015
ISO 14001:2015
ISO 45001:2018
Implementation and management of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST) in accordance with Colombian regulations.
Experience in occupational risk management, incident and accident investigations.
Knowledge of work permits, working at heights, confined space operations, load lifting, and welding activities.
Availability to conduct site visits and project follow-ups nationwide.
Proficiency in management indicators and action plans.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead and ensure implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System.
Guarantee compliance with current legislation on OSH, quality, and environmental management.
Design and execute training programs in safety, quality, and environmental management.
Monitor management indicators, accident rates, and HSEQ performance.
Coordinate internal and external audits and certification processes.
Manage incident and accident investigations and corrective actions.
Conduct periodic inspections at the manufacturing plant and installation projects.
Lead the environmental management program and proper waste handling.
Supervise compliance with safety standards for contractors and company personnel.
Prepare managerial reports and present results to company leadership.
