If you share our vision and wish to join a company driving ecological transformation, we invite you to become part of our team. **Job Description** -------------------------- **Position:** Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator **Location:** Cajicá **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term contract **Department:** Operations **Role Purpose:** Execute activities related to industrial wastewater treatment and plant operations. **Key Responsibilities:** 1\. Execute plant operations in accordance with company-defined procedures and propose actions to improve process efficiency. 2\. Carry out assigned maintenance routines and instructions provided by the immediate supervisor to fulfill established work plans. 3\. Use company-assigned resources effectively and efficiently to perform job duties. 4\. Dose chemicals used in the treatment process (coagulants, flocculants) according to laboratory test results. 5\. Dose chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite, caustic soda, urea, and/or CO₂ based on operational conditions. 6\. Follow instructions from the immediate supervisor during special treatment situations to ensure process control. 7\. Report anomalies occurring in the area—those affecting or potentially affecting normal activity execution—to the immediate supervisor. 8\. Comply with the contractor manual guidelines established by the company where services are being rendered. 9\. Implement emergency response procedures outlined in the Emergency Plan for abnormal plant operations to minimize resulting impacts. 10\. Notify the maintenance manager of anomalies identified during equipment operation to ensure smooth execution of scheduled activities. 11\. Maintain duly completed operation records and keep the database updated. 12\. Conduct laboratory analyses to assess water quality, processing samples per standard operating procedures. 13\. Properly manage residues generated during the wastewater treatment process. 14\. Perform monthly inventory of chemicals used for WWTP operations. 15\. Maintain order and cleanliness of treatment infrastructure, equipment, and work areas. 16\.
