At Citi, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your career, give back to your community and make a real impact. **Job Overview** ---------------- The Transaction Svs Sr Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for leading and supervising a medium sized unit of support employees, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to improve processes, interpret data, prepare reports, and minimize bank risk through ensuring adherence to audit and control policies. **Responsibilities:** * Provide support toTreasury and Trade services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, etc. * Open and amend Letters of Credit (L/Cs), Standbys and Guatantees, Text vetting process, payments and solve customer issues to ensure efficient daily operation * Supervise the daily workflow for a medium Transaction Services Operations unit that performs exception processing * Solve unique transaction services issues/problems and recommend new work procedures through an understanding of current procedures * Evaluate team performance and make recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions * Ensure task quality of the team and solve issues based on information analysis * Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. **Qualifications:** * 3\-5 years of experience in a related role * Demonstrated project management skills * Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment * Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken. portuguese is a plus * Identify new business opportunities. * Maintain awareness of product, policy and system enhancements changes. * Participates in system and client testing, implementation and trainings if needed. * Provide creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies. * Utilize technical knowledge to deliver quality service and achieve operating efficiency. * Perform within departmental procedures and compliance standards to minimize losses to the Firm. * Strong focus on control * Quick learner; comfortable with and able to manage in complex systems environment and associated development process. * Flexible/sense of urgency. * Highly detailed planning, organization, and solid execution capability. Multi\-tasking a must requirement. * Strong performance record, indicating a self\-starter who solves issues as they arise. * Proven management skills * Project Management skills * Analytical and organizational skills that can be demonstrated. * Technological Proficiency/ Knowledge. * Strong problem\-solving skills. * Highly detailed planning, organization, and solid execution capability.
